Cracked Pavement

It's been a while since the last post. Life has been crazy yet amazing. I have been meaning to post about my trip to Minnesota, but have not had time. I will get on it. So be on the look out for that post. In the meanwhile, here are a few photos from our most recent mini-shoot. I call it the Cracked Pavement look.

I purchased this blouse from Choies. I love everything about the print and the simplicity of the pattern. It is a fun blouse to mix and match with. I paired it with my favorite ripped boyfriend jeans and the most comfortable sandals I've ever worn. Very simple and very comfortable. I also love the color contrast between the light washed pair of jeans and cracked black from the blouse and sandals.

I hope you all had a great summer! What were some of your summer fashion finds?

Big Sur

It was a great Tuesday exploring Big Sur! My friends, Khang and Mai, and I went on a spontaneous trip to Big Sur hoping to see the "waterfall that was connected to a beach." Although we were not able to find such a location, we had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful colors of the ocean, admiring nature's breath-taking creations, purple sand, and laughing our way as we hiked to Pfeiffer Falls. We made at least five stops altogether to capture every ounce of Big Sur that we could and we were sure glad that we did. We could not believe how clean and mesmerizing the sights were and the fact that it was only three hours away from home.

I hope you enjoy the glimpse of photos from our trip. A beautiful trip along side amazing friends makes any day a perfect day. If you have time I highly recommend making the trip out to Big Sur for the day. You will not regret it.

Green, Black, & Pleather

Hello All, I know it's been a while since I've posted a blog. But I'm excited to share this look.

Starting off, my sheer embroidery tank is one of my favorite tops. Aside from the fact that I purchased it for only $10, it goes well with everything. Denim, slacks, shorts, any color, any style.  Next, I have a soft spot for green bottoms. I don't know why I do, but when I see a nicely designed pair of green bottoms it's always a must have! I have a theory that green bottoms go with anything and everything neutral. Since I am a neutral person, it's a perfect match. And the pants were only $10. My pleather jacket is the newest addition to my jacket/blazer collection. The fit is so slimming and the lapel is detachable. I will show what the jacket looks like in future posts. It's so comfortable and has been my go to jacket since I purchased it, especially for only $20.

Lastly, the outfit topper, my shoes. It was love at first sight for this pair. I already envisioned what they would look like on and of the endless outfits that they could be paired with. They look great with a pair of pant, a short, skirt, or even a dress. The purchasing price for these heels were only $15. They aren't displayed too much  in this post, but stay tuned for more blogs with these heels.

I hope you've enjoyed this little post. This was also my "I'm-running-late-have-to reach-into-my-closet-and-hope-to-put-something-cute-together" look yesterday. It kind of worked, right? Accidents are the best creations.
